The FRS is a demountable unit capable of transport on the Oshkosh PLS. This portable repair facility delivers a high degree of off-road mobility, allowing repair crews to affect field repairs for a wide variety of equipment, including replacing power packs on M1 tanks. This unit is equipped with a generator powerful enough to run an air compressor, welder, power tools and a material-handling crane. And because it's on the Oshkosh PLS, it can go anywhere repairs are needed.
